46 Excellent cars and a “Best in Show”.
The fourth edition of the “Epoca by Night” elegance competition took place in the hot August of the Marche region., organized by the historic Pesaro auto club “Dorino Serafini”. The event, part of the ASI calendar for elegance competitions saw a parade 46 cars between the Piazzale della Libertà and the gardens hosting the reproduction of the Large Sphere, Arnaldo Pomodoro's Ball, on the Pesaro seafront. The cars competed in sporting fashion 13 categories defined by the Marchigiano club, coordinated by President Danilo Crescenti and Vice President Fabrizio Chinè; Others have been added to these 24 cars out of competition.
Between these, of particular interest, the splendid one Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS Pininfarina brought to the competition by Giuseppe Casali (Caem Macerata), to which the jury of the event, composed of ASI experts Gabriele Fabbri, Isabella Maggi and Fabio Berardi awarded the “Best in show”. Pininfarina only made it 2 of these special “open” versions to be exhibited at the Paris and Geneva motor shows. The event car, quite well known, it was later purchased by the Neapolitan shipowner Achille Lauro.
The event took place in the presence of the ASI event manager Ivo Serio, of the Mayor of Pesaro Matteo Ricci, of the Deputy Mayor Daniele Vimini, the Sports Councilor Mila Della Dora, the Regional Councilor Micaela Vitri and Alberto Paccapelo, President of “Land of Pilots and Motors” .

After the excellent success of the edition 2023, great expectations for the fifth edition next year, where Pesaro, Italian capital of culture, will propose the formula of this edition again while still being able to count on the support of the city and the institutions.
